Hope Week
All are invited!
July 27-August 2 is Hope Week at Hope Church Portsmouth. This will be a time of free activities for all ages and stages. For school years R-6 we have a Holiday Club, for all ages we have our Hope Hub Monday-Friday with drinks and sandwiches available, along with crafts, a sensory area for kids, and local services such as Portsmouth Foodbank, Citizens Advice, NHS Wellbeing Service, and some helpful mental health resources. On Friday evening, the 31st of July, we’ll have our community concert, and Sunday, the 2nd of August, we’ll have a celebration service with a free BBQ. We can’t wait to see you there!

From 28th-31st of July, we will have our Hope Holiday Club. It’s totally FREE, fun, action-packed club for children in school Year R - Year 6! We’ll play messy games, dance and sing, hear great stories in our God Slot and win awesome prizes.

Our Hope Hub will be open Monday-Friday during Hope Week, 11am-1pm.
The Hope Hub hosts the Portsmouth Foodbank, and includes Citizens Advice, along with other local organisations, like the NHS Wellbeing Service.
Come along for our free cafe, and connect with some of our friendly team who are available for conversations and signposting.
We’ll also have free fun activities for all ages like crafts, a sensory area for kids, and some helpful mental health resources.

On the Tuesday and Thursday of Hope Week, we’ll be offering a free cafe with mental health resources and arts and crafts activities from 11am-1pm.

A NIGHT OF MUSIC, ART, STORIES, AND HOPE
We’ll enjoy live music from Tinika Wyatt who was a finalist on The Voice US, Evan Wickham, and Drew Enos of the band Lion & Bear.

Sunday morning, the 2nd of August, we will finish off Hope Week with a big celebration! Our morning service (starting with free refreshments at 10am) will feel like a big party, including Holiday Club prize-giving and a snapshot into what’s been going on throughout the week - all ages and stages will be in toghether.
After the service we’ll have a free BBQ and activities!

Community Concert

Tinika Wyatt
Tinika is from San Diego, California. She has been singing on large stages for years, all around the world. From an international gospel group to The Voice (US), Tinika’s powerful voice and story continues to inspire people globally.
Evan Wickham
Evan grew up in a musical family, singing and playing music from a very young age. Evan and his wife Sandy are the lead pastors of Park Hill Church in San Diego, California. They have travelled all around the world sharing music and inspirational stories.
Drew Enos
Drew is a founding member of the band Lion & Bear, originally from California, now living in Portsmouth, UK with his family. He grew up writing and playing music as a solo artist and in bands.
