2026 Bible Reading Plan: A Survey Through God’s Story

you’re invited to join us on a journey through the Bible in 2026

Reading the Scriptures is an ancient practice which has united Christian for thousands of years. The Bible is one of the primary ways which God has chosen to reveal himself to us. Now we have the privilege of encountering the Spirit of God as we engage with the Scriptures. In 2026 we’re inviting Hope Church to join us for a year-long Bible reading plan. It’s a short passage each day, joined with a reading practice we’re using called, BREAD. We’re joining churches around the world using this same, helpful, method of studying the Word of God.

B - Breathe: Be Still and know He’s God. Focus on your breath, slow down, set your heart and mind on the peace of God which passes understanding.

R - Read: Read through the daily passage, being aware of anything that strikes your heart. It may be a verse, a line, or maybe even one word.

E - Encounter: When you find verse, phrase, or word that is impactful to you, spend a few moments focusing on it, allowing for the Spirit to bring it to life within you.

A - Apply: Write down the way you’ve been impacted by the thing the Spirit has highlighted too you, and how you intend to live it out today.

D - Devote: finally, finish your time in prayer, committing your day, and how you’ve been impacted by the Bible today, to the Lord in prayer.
