Hope Internships
Our Internships
Our Church Internship Programme exists to equip and inspire developing leaders of any age and stage by combining spiritual formation, hands-on ministry, and leadership development. Interns will grow in their faith, discover and develop their gifts, and gain practical experience across a variety of church and community ministries. We aim to raise up courageous, compassionate, and skilled leaders who are grounded in Christ, passionate about serving others and empowered to make a lasting impact in the church, the community, and the world.
-
We’re looking for people aged 18 and over (but there is no upper age limit!) with a strong Christian faith and a heart to serve, who feel called towards ministry, leadership or community impact. As an intern, you’ll join a supportive team and grow through hands-on ministry, leadership development, and discipleship.
The internship could be for you if you’ve just finished full-time education and are looking for a gap-year opportunity; if you’ve just graduated from university and looking for what’s next; if you study/ work part time; if you’re currently out of work (you can undertake volunteering hours alongside most benefits) or if you’re retired!
-
The Hope Internship programme is free for all who enrolled. This is not a paid internship and will have no salary. Accommodation, travel and personal devices (i.e laptop/tablet) are not provided. You will receive mentorship, teachings, spiritual guidance and access to the church resources throughout the programme.
The commitment includes three Sundays per month, one set day in the Hope building (development and team time) and then commitment to your stream - set hours can be agreed upon to work best with your schedule.
We also ask that you are a part of a fortnightly Life Group as we grow together in faith and purpose.
