Monday, the 27th of July will be our training day, where our team will be joined by the team from Park Hill Church to talk through the week and spend time in prayer together.

From 28th-31st of July, we will have our Hope Holiday Club. It’s totally FREE, fun, action-packed club for children in school Year R - Year 6! We’ll play messy games, dance and sing, hear great stories in our God Slot and win awesome prizes.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for kids and their parents/carers.

Our Hope Hub will run our normal hours: Mon, Wed, & Fri from 11am-1pm

We’ll offer lunch for the community on those days.

In addition to our normal Hub hours, we’ll be open for the parents of the kids who participate in the Holiday Club on Tuesday the 28th of July, and Thursday the 30th of July. In this time we’ll offer arts & crafts in the Hub space, while we also have classes (mental health, parenting, etc.) for parents.

There will be some projects to work on around the building, as well as an opportunity to create a prayer garden space.

On the evening of Friday the 31st of July we’ll have a Concert Outreach. We’ll have multiple musical artists along with some artists who will showcase their art and be interviewed. We will spend some time bringing flyers around Portsmouth to promote the concert.

Park Hill Church in San Diego, California will be sending a group out to join us for Hope Week. They’ll be helping us throughout the week in all the different areas we’ll be serving the community.

We are looking for people from Hope Church who will be willing to host the team from Park Hill for the week. You may have one room where you would be happy for one or two people to sleep for the week, that would be amazing!

To ensure we’re doing our due diligence, we’ll make sure all hosts are DBS checked, and all of the guests from Park Hill will be Live Scanned (California’s DBS equivalent). We take safeguarding very seriously here at Hope Church, we we’ll do our best to ensure the wellbeing of hosts and guests.

We’re also looking for people who would be willing to have a group from Park Hill around for a meal one of the nights.
